What is the difference between a 100% natural juice and a juice made of 100% natural concentrate?
Often, one can see on the packaging a sign that a products contains «100% natural juice made of fruits or vegetables». To obtain a 100% natural juice, fruits and vegetables have to be processed in such a way that they are firstly pressed, then pasteurized and finally bottled. This allows the juice to keep all the «life» ingredients found in fresh fruits and vegetables. By «life» ingredients, we primarily think of the numerous vitamins, minerals, acids and most importantly the «living water» or «aqua viva» that is extracted from the fruit and vegetable cells.
On the other hand, a juice made from concentrate is fundamentally different in its processing method. The biggest difference is precisely the absence of the «living water» or «aqua viva». This is due to the heating process that uses evaporation to eliminate all the water from the pressed fruit juice. Thereafter, the juice from concentrate is being produced by adding spring or tap water to the concentrate. Unfortunately, the «aqua viva» cannot be restored in the 100% natural juices from concentrate simply because most of the valuable virtues have been lost in the heating and evaporation process.
How is it possible that our freshly pressed juices have a shelf life of 2 years?

Vitadrink® 100% juices go into the pasteurization process where it is heated to a certain temperature in order to be «disinfected» i.e. in order to neutralize all the microorganisms that would lead to spoilage or fermentation of the juice. This juice is then filled into sterilized glass bottles and hermetically sealed.
This process has been known in the food processing industry since the 19th century when a worldwide known scientist, Louis Pasteur, discovered the advantages of «pasteurization». Sealing pasteurized juice in high quality glass packaging allows extension of shelf-life and preservation of all natural, valuable nutrients.
